The Blue Ice Chiru 32L mountaineering backpack is a slightly larger option that helps organize equipment for mountain activities. It is designed for advanced users and meets the demands of challenging mountain conditions.
The carrying system features a padded waist belt and low-profile straps inspired by climbing harness design, ensuring even weight distribution for comfort during demanding movements on alpine terrain. The waist belt can be easily stowed away when using a climbing harness.
This model includes many features that enhance its functionality during climbing and mountaineering. It is made from lightweight 210D nylon ripstop fabric to reduce weight and increase durability in harsh conditions. Access to the backpack's contents is provided via a top frame and a full-length side zipper.
It includes a convenient top loop for rope attachment, as well as 3D holders and placements for ice tools at the top of the backpack. Equipment organization is facilitated by two pockets: one at the top closed with a waterproof YKK zipper and an internal pocket with an additional hook for keys.
It also has slim supplementary straps on the sides to reduce the backpack’s volume. During stays in mountainous areas, the hydration system can be very useful. The Blue Ice Chiru model is compatible with hydration systems (not included).
For safety while moving on rocky terrain, helmet attachment points are included.
