To maintain the quality of the wood on cutting surfaces, the following practices are recommended:

  • Do not use the dishwasher.
  • Before first use, clean the surface with warm water (65°C) and liquid soap, then rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
  • After each use, always clean with water and soap, rinse well, and dry so that the wood does not remain wet for a long time.
  • After rinsing, place the surface vertically and store it only when it has completely dried.
  • Regularly apply olive oil for better care. Leave the oil on overnight to absorb.
  • For frequent disinfection, it is recommended to place the wood at 65°C for a few minutes (e.g., in an oven's airflow).
