The PROTO-X protection device is used to protect pumps operating with single-phase 230V. It is placed between the socket and the pump’s plug. The built-in safety methods protect the pump from voltage fluctuations from the network and from typical pump problems, such as dry running or a blocked rotor. The PROTO-X unit features standard male and female 230V sockets and acts as an adapter between the pump’s plug and the socket. The high measurement accuracy makes the device suitable for systems that require stable and unchanged operating conditions. If the input current exceeds 10A, the device will stop the pump and protect it from overload. This fault will be indicated by the red “Fault” indicator light being on.
