    Good evening, I have a G6PD enzyme deficiency and low iron, hematocrit, and ferritin since I was a small child. Out of all the iron supplements I have been given over the years because of an autoimmune condition in the intestine and acid reflux in the stomach, this is the only supplement that has not bothered me at all. Of course, it raises ferritin, etc. slowly but steadily. I take two capsules a day for months, and little by little it raises everything. It just needs time.

    Very disappointing experience. I took it on an empty stomach, as you recommend for better iron absorption, and within about 30 minutes I had severe vomiting. It is supposedly gentler on the stomach than other iron supplements, but in my case the exact opposite happened.

    Personally, I would not buy it again and I cannot recommend it, as it caused me very intense discomfort from the very first dose.
