Recipe for roasted Calabrese peppers with herbs and capers:

  • 12 Calabrese peppers
  • 70gr breadsticks
  • 2 heaping tablespoons of capers
  • Various herbs (thyme, basil, mint, marjoram, lemon balm, oregano)

Using gloves, clean the peppers by removing the stems and seeds. Parboil them in water and vinegar (equal amounts) and let them dry upside down. Finely chop the herbs, breadsticks, and capers and mix them. Fill the peppers with the mixture and place them in a greased baking tray. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 180⁰ degrees.
