We bought it 4-5 years ago. From the first day, it had a strong smell when we lit it and turned on the heater. It didn't smell like smoke! The seller suggested that we "burn it well" to get rid of the smell. We did it. Then he suggested that we do it more intensely. We overdid it... Nothing, every year on the first lighting, we had to be away from home, and then we lit it daily and opened windows for the first hour. The problem was never fixed. The seller was fired and we stopped lighting it...

Other than that, it has a large burning space, good draw (we had a short chimney and it was insulated, so in our conditions, it was perfect).

For the record: we burned olive wood, cleaned it excessively regularly, checked all the connections, changed cords, did everything they suggested. My impression is that the stove has "rust" between the surfaces of the heater. Poor paint, one of our worst purchases.
