The handles are crafted internally to the most precise specifications, and each knife is assembled and sharpened by hand by skilled technicians with over thirty years of production experience.

Proper care and regular maintenance will help you keep your Benchmade in excellent condition. Follow these tips:

  • All steel, regardless of price and quality, can eventually rust, so it is important to keep your knife dry and oiled.
  • Dishwashers can cause serious damage, so be sure to wash your Benchmade by hand with warm water and dish soap.
  • Remember, knives are cutting tools and should never be used as pry bars, screwdrivers, chisels, or wedges.
  • If you choose to sharpen your blade yourself, avoid grinding wheels and other high-power machinery.
  • The handle screws, pivot, and pocket clip may require occasional adjustment with T6 & T10 Torx screwdrivers.
