    It produces wines with intense tannins, full body, and characteristic aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, black cherry), often with notes of cedar, mint, or tobacco. They have excellent aging potential.

    Agiorgitiko

    It can produce from rosé and light red wines with aromas of fresh red fruits (strawberry, cherry), to dense, aged wines with aromas of plum jam, spices, and chocolate. The tannins are usually velvety.

Initially, he bought a vineyard of only 60 stremmas and created the Castle-Winery, which is preserved to this day. It has been winemaking since 1861.

ACHAIA CLAUSS now produces its products in state-of-the-art facilities.

Aroma of the Hill:

  • 60% Agiorgitiko
  • 40% Cabernet Sauvignon
  • Maceration and fermentation for each variety separately
  • Aged in oak barrels 225Lt, 3rd and 4th use for 12 months
