On a 2023 Jeep Compass it works just fine, as long as you make the necessary settings (Hotspot from mobile phone). I bought it for the kids just for YouTube and Netflix, and I also installed Disney. Sometimes I have to manually connect to the phone's hotspot, that's why I give it 4 stars. The steering wheel controls work. The only downside is that when someone calls, it doesn't show the name, only the number. Whatever is playing at that moment is interrupted, and when the call ends, it continues normally without you having to do anything. I suggest before we start driving, to make sure it is connected to the hotspot, and we have selected what we want to play, otherwise it is very dangerous to do it while driving.

Unwieldy and very laggy. Confusing regarding Android Auto and apps with Hot spot internet. It takes a long time to start up and confuses the factory Infotainment system of the car. It also causes issues with the reverse camera... There are much better and faster simple wireless adapters. Its operating system generally freezes and is very slow. It's not really worth it. 01-01-2026 I removed it completely; when I tried to make a simple phone call, it reset and disconnected. Suzuki Ignis 2024 Infotainment... claims 100% compatibility... but it is NOT worth the money, prefer another brand... truly a waste of money. 04/01/2026 after factory resets and reinstalls (both on the phone and the device)... It works... somewhat. Sometimes it's flawless and fast... other times it freezes and I lose the sound from the car's factory radio system when the device connects at car startup (I have to unplug it from the USB and plug it back in to fix it). I felt bad for the money so I keep trying, otherwise I would have thrown it out the window. Calls seem to work but there is NO compatibility with the car's buttons, you have to answer from the screen (touch screen). I keep it because for media it plays movies etc. from the flash drive and Netflix, YouTube (as long as you have a good data connection). It confuses and delays (which it shouldn't) with Android Auto (I have it for iPhone, I DON'T KNOW). I have a wireless adapter from Facebook market that works great and was dirt cheap. If you don't care about the media features, don't buy it... go for Carlink (I've tried that too)... it's better.
-- And again, I return 09-01-2026, I have now removed it... Android Auto (the app) was also freezing and I had problems with phone calls. The result is that this particular one DOESN'T work, it has many software issues... it's very slow... unwieldy (for anyone who doesn't know much about the subject)... and generally DOESN'T work... plus with all the issues it keeps you busy all the time, risking an accident and nowhere (sometimes it doesn't load... you start, put it in reverse and when the screen returns from the rear camera the app closes and you have to tap... touch... the screen again to return). Calls are interrupted, it loses the phone and many other issues

Installation in Volvo and Lynk&Co 01, the sound did not work at all and after a while it completely freezes. On the other hand, in a Peugeot 3008 it works flawlessly, that's why the 3 stars.
