The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II figure is a single-seat, single-engine fifth-generation multirole fighter jet. It is manufactured by Lockheed Martin for the armed forces of the United States, such as the US Air Force, the Navy, the Army, and the Marines. It was initially called X-35 JSF, but in 2006 it was renamed F-35 Lightning II. Although the main order comes from the U.S. government, the program is also financially supported by other countries such as the United Kingdom, Italy, and the Netherlands.
