3 Ltr Pot with a diameter of 19 cm and a height of 70 cm. The Cupressus sempervirens, commonly known as the Italian cypress, is a large, evergreen, coniferous tree with a slender and tall form. Its crown is dense and dark green. Its fruits, the cypress cones, are initially spherical and green, then turn brown-gray.
Its root system first develops vertically and then spreads out, so in windy areas it requires support during the initial period after planting. It has satisfactory resistance to cold and hot climates, thriving in various soil types, including poor and dry soils.
This variety has been widespread for centuries in Mediterranean countries and is planted in public and private green spaces, either individually or in groups. It is also suitable for seaside gardens.
Its narrow, columnar form features dark gray-green scale-like leaves on upright branches and has aromatic foliage when crushed. This form is the well-known fasciata form, similar to the one described by Linnaeus, which is the cypress of classical literature and has been traditionally used in Italian classical gardens.
