Description

Description

The MAGUS Lum 400 microscope is designed for diagnostic and research work using fluorescence (light reflection) and bright field (transmitted light) methods. With additional equipment, dark field techniques with polarized light and phase contrast can also be used. Applications of the fluorescence microscope include DNA analysis, pathogen microorganism studies, health and epidemiological testing, and forensic examination.

Its optical system is trinocular, with a 30° inclination angle. The rotating support can hold five objective lenses. Four lenses with infinity correction are included: 4x, 10x, 40x fluorescence, and 100x for bright field observation. The light source is a 100 W mercury lamp, while the transmitted light source is a 30 W halogen lamp, sufficient for work with any lenses at any magnification.

The lighting can be adjusted using the Köhler method, ensuring a clear image without shading at the edges. The microscope features an ergonomic platform without a support mount, and the focusing lever system is positioned on both sides.

  • Microscopic methods: fluorescence reflection light, bright field observation
  • Research methods: phase contrast, simple polarization, dark field
  • Setup: without computer connection via HDMI, with the possibility of connection via Wi-Fi and USB 3.0
  • Automatic switching between 4K and Full HD: depending on the screen resolution

The MAGUS Lum 400 microscope is suitable for professionals and experienced users and is equipped with the ability to connect additional accessories, such as a digital camera and observation components.
