The Northbatt LC 320-12 lead-carbon battery belongs to the new series of batteries from NORTHBATT for photovoltaic systems. It is specially designed for energy storage from Renewable Sources, such as solar and wind energy, and is based on advanced lead-carbon technology. The grid alloy and structure, the active material formula, the battery case material, and the electrolyte compositions have been optimized with high specific surface carbon materials, which offer high electrical conductivity and dispersion to the active materials, improving the utilization rate, effectively protecting the negative plate, and limiting the growth of lead sulfate crystals. The NORTHBATT LC series is a blend of lead-acid battery and supercapacitors, offering not only high energy density but also high power, fast charging and discharging, as well as longer cycle life.
