Description

Description

Sitsa Karaïskaki was a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Munich and wrote articles from a young age in many newspapers and magazines during the Interwar period, as well as in the post-war years.

In this edition, several significant texts have been added, along with a comprehensive preface containing a wealth of information about the work, ideas, and life of the Greek author.

Beyond the articles concerning the Nobel laureate writer Knut Hamsun, Ernest Hemingway, Georgios Tertsetis, Stefan Georgette, Kostis Palamas, and the pro-Greek German poet Friedrich Hölderlin, Sitsa Karaïskaki praises the Greek race and combats Falmérayer’s theory, as well as the offensive views against Greece expressed by Alfred Rosenberg, defending the purity of Greek blood.

In other writings, she argues that Greek culture was a result of the Greek soul and Greek blood, meaning that Greek art signifies.
