This 92mm fan protective grill is suitable for use with 9x9cm cartridge fans. Wire fan grills provide additional finger safety.
Applications: The use of the protective grill is not required if the fan is installed indoors without exposure to the fan blades. However, it is recommended to install the grill if the fan blades are exposed outside the cartridge. This is especially important if you plan to make holes (blowholes) on the side or top panels of the cartridge for installing additional fans for overclocking purposes.
