Description

READY FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE. OPTIMIZED FORMULA

The Arctic MX-7 is the top choice in the thermal interfaces category, designed to meet the most demanding cooling needs. With a new, improved formula that offers even lower thermal resistance, it ensures maximum heat transfer from the processor to the heatsink, making it ideal for overclockers, hardware professionals, and high-performance systems.

Optimized Consistency (High Viscosity)

The MX-7 stands out for its dense and viscous texture, a result of its high filler content, which offers top thermal performance without "running".

Prevention of the "Pump-Out Effect"

The high internal cohesion of the material prevents the formation of cracks or leakage of the paste even after repeated thermal cycles, ensuring long-term stability.

Absolute Application Safety

It is completely electrically non-conductive and non-capacitive, eliminating any risk of short circuit, even if it comes into contact with live components.

Easy Application "Cross Method"

Due to its texture, the ideal application is done in an "X" pattern. The pressure from the heatsink spreads the paste evenly across the entire surface, filling even the smallest imperfections without air bubbles.

Long Lifespan

Its composition guarantees that it will not dry out, maintaining its performance stable for years, thus reducing the need for frequent maintenance (re-pasting).

  • Viscosity: 35,000 - 38,000 poise
  • Density: 2.9 g/cm³
  • Continuous Use Temperature: -50~250 ℃
  • Volume Resistivity: 1.7 x 1012 Ω-cm
  • Breakdown Voltage: 4.2 kV/mm

This particular paste is a bit strange because you can hardly spread it at all with a spatula, it only spreads with pressure. However, I did another trick: I warmed it up a bit with a hairdryer and then spread it with a small spatula and it worked somewhat, now I don't know if that's right or wrong. I noticed that the temperatures on the graphics card dropped significantly from 74°C to 68-69°C, so I believe it does a better job compared to the well-known MX-4. You just need the right amount and very good pressing.
