Tempered glass is a hardened glass specially designed to cover and protect the mobile phone's screen from scratches and other damage. It does not affect the screen's functionality. In case of dropping the phone, it provides an extra layer of protection, although it does not guarantee that the screen won't break. It features adhesive across the entire surface, unlike edge glue glass protectors, which have adhesive only around the perimeter. This ensures better application and smooth operation of the touch screen. Additionally, it prevents dust from passing underneath, which can happen with edge glue protectors if the perimeter adhesive wears out. It is useful for modern smartphones with curved screens.
