The towels are made with the loop method. This production method requires paraffin treatment of the fibers to protect them during the weaving process. In the initial usage phase, the towels may shed lint, which is due to the decomposition of the paraffin from the fibers. This is not a product defect. During subsequent washes and uses, the lint disappears completely, while the towels become fluffier and more absorbent.
