Full wheel rim repair and painting kit.

Complete kit for repairing, restoring, and painting rims with high-quality products from AVEX.ro. The kit is DIY type and can be used by anyone following the included instructions.

The kit includes:

• 4 x 400 ml spray paint Champion
• 1 x 500 ml transparent lacquer spray Champion
• 1 x special putty for aluminum wheels
• 1 x set of disposable gloves
• 1 x set of sandpapers with different grit sizes for surface correction before and after applying the putty
• 1 x masking tape roll for protecting the tire edge

WARNING! The wheel rim shown in the image is for promotional purposes only and is not included in the package.

Application instructions:

• Carefully clean the rims to remove dust or grease.
• Sand down the dents on the rim to correct and create a rough surface for better adhesion of the putty.
• Clean again or blow to remove metallic residues.
• Apply masking tape around the rim on the tire to protect it from paint fumes.
• Apply the putty to the dents on the rim using a spatula, sticks, or fingers (wear the provided gloves) to fill in dents or cracks.
• After about 10 minutes, once the putty has set, smooth the surface using fine-grit sandpaper.
• If the putty does not cover all dents, repeat the process if necessary until all gaps are filled.
• After sanding with the correction sandpaper, finish with progressively finer sandpapers to prepare the surface for painting.
• If you want to paint the entire wheel rim and not just the dented areas, prepare the entire surface of the rim with fine sandpaper.
• Clean the rim surface from the residues of the sandpaper.
• Shake the spray paint can for about 2 minutes to mix well and apply on the rim with smooth, even strokes.
• After 10-20 minutes of drying, apply the next coat of paint. It is recommended to apply 2-3 coats for better coverage.
• Finally, after applying the coats of paint and drying, apply the lacquer layer in the same manner as the paint coats.
• For high gloss, apply multiple coats of lacquer with drying pauses between applications.

The lacquer application is optional. In some cases, the painted surface is sufficiently glossy without applying transparent lacquer.
