Don’t forget to bridge L & 0. Otherwise, you will be able to remotely turn the water heater on/off, see consumption, and set if you want and when it automatically turns on or off. e.g. to turn it off automatically after 40 minutes or even through various scenarios. Personally, I also added a voltage monitor.

    tips:
    the double pole should always be on, since the Shelly only switches through the app, so you cannot turn on the water heater manually unless you add an extra switch

    the connection is made via wifi or ethernet cable
