Myles Young is a vibrant, semi-evergreen climbing plant with glossy, lobed leaves. It produces slightly fragrant, slightly textured flowers up to 10 centimeters in diameter, which bloom abundantly from summer to early autumn. The flowers have purple-blue petals and blue filaments at the edges and may be followed by egg-shaped orange-yellow fruits. The flesh of the fruits can only be consumed when fully ripe and yellow-orange.

Passiflora 'Betty Myles Young' is an impressive, robust, and semi-evergreen climbing plant, known for its large, fragrant flowers and great hardiness. It is a Riverside® hybrid, with large flowers (up to 12 cm) in shades of violet-blue with dark purple and white filaments. The flowers have a light fragrance and remain open for several days.
