This specific design removes 99.99999% of bacteria, such as Salmonella, cholera, and Escherichia coli, as well as 99.9999% of protozoa, like Giardia and Cryptosporidium. Additionally, the filter eliminates 100% of microplastics of the size retained by the membrane.
The Sawyer Mini Single Water Filter can be connected to water bladders, used with hydration system tubing, screwed onto 28 mm threaded bottles, or used for direct drinking from the source with a straw.
