The installation of this sink is drop-in, meaning it is recessed into the countertop with its rim protruding. This installation method is the most popular, as the sink's weight is supported by the countertop, with additional support points for stability. Sealing is achieved with insulating materials, such as silicone, around the opening beneath the rim. Although the sink’s rim facilitates use, it can make cleaning difficult and does not allow water to flow directly into the sink.
