Application instructions:
-
Joint design: An effective joint must have proper dimensional sizes to accommodate slight movements of adjacent elements. The depth should be proportional to the width:
- For joints 5-10 mm: ratio 1:1 (minimum depth 5 mm and width)
- For joints >10 mm: ratio 1:2 (minimum depth 10 mm, maximum 15 mm)
-
Surface preparation:
- Application temperature: between +5°C and +40°C (both ambient and substrate)
- The surface must be clean, solid, free from dust, grease or other impurities
- Very porous substrates (e.g. plaster, aerated concrete, limestone) require preparation (1 part Acryl-W + 2 parts water)
- Finishing: After application, the silicone can be smoothed with water. Painting should be done only after complete drying. Provides excellent coverage with water-based and synthetic paints.
Packaging: Available in a 280 ml plastic cartridge.
