The Discus Minerals adds all the necessary trace elements and minerals to reverse osmosis water and soft tap water, compensating for deficiencies in this type of water. The lack of certain nutrients can lead to fungal infections on eggs, deformities in offspring, and dark coloration.
The dosage is as follows:
- Reverse osmosis water: 15 ml Discus Minerals per 100 liters of water.
- Tap water (soft, up to 5° KH): 10 ml Discus Minerals per 100 liters of water.
- Tap water (moderately hard, 6–10° KH): 5 ml Discus Minerals per 100 liters of water.
- For breeding fish: Increase the dosage by 10 ml each time.
- For Malawi–Tanganyika cichlids: Depending on the existing water hardness, add up to 150 ml per 100 liters of aquarium water.
