Description

Expand your home network with the FRITZ!Repeater 2700, the next-generation repeater featuring Wi-Fi 7 technology.

It offers lightning-fast speeds up to 6.5 Gbit/s, low latency, and absolute stability, making it ideal for gaming and 4K streaming. With a built-in 2.5-gigabit LAN port and full Mesh Wi-Fi support, it works seamlessly with your FRITZ!Box to cover every corner of your home with smart and fast internet.

Wi-Fi 7: The New Generation in Multi-Gigabit Speeds

The FRITZ!Repeater 2700 brings Wi-Fi 7 to your home, delivering top performance even when multiple devices are active simultaneously. With combined speeds of up to 6.5 Gbit/s on the 2.4-GHz and 5-GHz bands, it is the ideal solution for real-time applications such as virtual reality (VR), high-definition video calls, and demanding online gaming, ensuring your connection remains strong and uninterrupted.

Smart Mesh Wi-Fi for Seamless Coverage

Thanks to Mesh technology, all FRITZ! devices work together as a single network. The repeater automatically adopts the settings of your FRITZ!Box and intelligently directs your devices to the spot with the best reception. This way, you can move freely around the space without losing your connection, enjoying uninterrupted surfing and 4K streaming without delays.

Wired Connection 2.5-Gigabit LAN

Beyond wireless extension, the FRITZ!Repeater 2700 features a powerful 2.5-gigabit LAN port. This feature allows the integration of devices into the network that require maximum stability and speed, such as next-generation consoles, IP cameras, or Smart TVs. Alternatively, it can be used as a LAN bridge, connecting the repeater to the router via cable to cover even greater distances without signal loss.

One-Touch Installation

Setting up the FRITZ!Repeater 2700 is extremely simple and fast. With the press of a button (WPS), the repeater and the FRITZ!Box connect automatically, transferring all security settings and network name. No complicated configuration is required, allowing you to extend your Wi-Fi range within seconds.

Manageable and User-Friendly

If you wish to further customize your settings, AVM's intuitive user interface is accessible from any computer or mobile device. The software provides clear information about your network status, connected devices, and speeds, while ensuring that your repeater always stays up to date with the latest security and functionality upgrades.

This one is the long-awaited upgrade to the awesome "2400", which unfortunately had WiFi 5. The new one with WiFi 7 is a little beast. It’s very worth it if you don’t want the thousand-series (1700). In the 5GHz band it offers "4x4 MIMO" antennas, while the corresponding 1700 has "2x2 MIMO". On 2.4GHz both devices have 2x2, so if you want it for IoT it’s not worth the extra money. I have it on LAN via a patch panel to the router and it has incredible coverage and speed. Of course, I’m not fully using WiFi 7 since I only have a 1Gbps connection, but it will be useful for future bandwidth upgrades. All in all, a very good middle ground between the 1600/1700 and the 3000AX. The only negative is that it doesn’t have a second LAN port...
