    Attention: it does not hang; it has a plastic base that is screwed to the ceiling with three screws (included). Then the fan clips onto it and also hides the cables. The base also has anti-vibration rubber pads.
    The blades are clip-on and are installed in a minute. It is relatively quiet; only at speed 6 can you hear the blades, i.e. the air.
    It was installed in a relatively small room; in a larger one I don't know if it would be effective, but overall it is worth the money.
