The Shimano CS-HG41-8 cassette from the Acera group is made of steel to increase durability and lifespan. To reduce weight, small holes have been drilled into the sprockets. Additionally, the manufacturer used a profile design in the cassette to facilitate quick gear shifts. Compared to its predecessor, the CS-HG40, the Shimano CS-HG41 cassette is much lighter. The Acera product line is designed for those involved in touring MTB/ATB, making it suitable for all types of riding, from light trails to urban commuting. It is positioned between the Altus and Alivio groups.
