The highest resolution available on the market (also known as 8 Megapixels). It offers 4 times more detail than Full HD. This is cinematic quality that allows for maximum possible zoom to recognize critical details, even from a great distance.
HDD Slots

The number of internal hard drives (SATA) that can be installed simultaneously in the recorder.
Maximum Capacity per Disk

The maximum size (in TB - Terabytes) of the hard drive that the device "recognizes" and supports in each slot.
Ports

HDMI

The digital output for video and audio. It is the standard way to connect the recorder to a modern TV or monitor (PC) and view your cameras in high resolution.

PoE

These ports allow you to connect IP cameras directly to the recorder. The camera receives power and transmits video through the same network cable, making installation extremely simple (plug-and-play).

USB

Its main use is to connect a mouse for menu navigation and settings. Additionally, it is used to connect a USB stick (flash drive) in order to export (take a backup of) specific video clips that interest you.

VGA

An analog video output. Used to connect the recorder to older computer monitors.
