The Battery Mate 1602 IG is designed for systems that include two or more batteries, which operate independently to power 12 or 24 V consumers. These batteries require independent charging with reliable battery separators or battery combiners.

Features:

The Battery Mate battery separators have minimal voltage drop. While BI separators are conventional diode separators, the Battery Mate technology is electronic and includes a MOSFET (transistor). The components compensate for the voltage drop and ensure that charging continues at the correct voltage level, even with multiple batteries.

The Battery Mate is compatible with any type of alternator/battery charger in existing or new installations. Since the voltage loss between the alternator and the battery is minimal, the performance of the Battery Mate is significantly better than conventional battery separators, ensuring fast and full charging of the batteries without additional adjustments to the alternator.

Capability to charge two or three batteries:

The Battery Mate is ideal for charging multiple batteries, even with various alternator brands, even if the charging voltage cannot be adjusted. It can charge two or three batteries with very high efficiency and without voltage loss.

The 1602/1603 models are suitable for alternators with a maximum charging current of 160 amps, while the Battery Mate 2503 is ideal for alternators with a maximum charging current of 250 amps.

Clear monitoring: Safety is ensured with the Battery Mate’s LED indicator showing whether the power input is active.
