Spathiphyllum (Peace Lily)

• Light: Prefers bright positions with indirect light. In areas with lower light it produces fewer flowers and grows more slowly. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent damage to the leaves.
• Water: Needs watering when the top few centimeters of soil are dry. It is sensitive to root rot and excessive moisture can harm it. In winter, reduce the frequency and amount of watering.
• Temperature: Ideal temperature range is 18-24 °C. It tolerates lower temperatures but should not fall below 5 °C.
• Humidity: Prefers higher humidity levels. Occasional misting of the leaves or placing it on a tray with pebbles and water is recommended.
• Fertilization: Apply fertilizer suitable for green plants 2-3 times a year.
• Growing medium/Repotting: Repot every 2-4 years and use a substrate suitable for indoor plants with good drainage.
• Height and growth rate: Can reach 60-70 cm and is considered moderate to slow growing, although growth accelerates under suitable conditions.
• Toxicity: Harmful if ingested.
• Origin: Tropical regions of South and Central America.
