The MAGUS Metal V700 BD is a metallurgy reflected-light microscope designed for observations with reflected light. It features a rotating head with 5 optics, suitable for examining metals, alloys, semiconductors, and other opaque samples up to 2 kilograms.
Optics: The microscope head can be positioned normally or rotated 180°. There is the option to add a digital camera via a trinocular tube and side port. The beam splitting options are 50:50 and 100:0 for the head, and 100:0 and 0:100 for the body.
Stage and Focusing Mechanism: The stage is circular and rotatable, with apertures of 10 mm, 20 mm, or 30 mm diameter. The sample is held by a holder and moved in two directions: X and Y axes. It features a coaxial focus mechanism with coarse and fine adjustments.
Lighting: 50 W light source with a halogen lamp, providing warm light that reduces eye strain. The light source can be adjusted for better focus and operates with a reflected light system that includes polarizing and dark field options.
