Description

Description

The microscope is designed for examining the microstructure of metals and alloys, semiconductors, and other opaque samples. The inverted microscope design does not limit the size of the sample, but the weight is limited to 2 kg. The sample must first be specially prepared and then placed on the platform with the surface facing downward. The microscope uses three light contrast methods: brightfield, simple polarization, and differential interference contrast (DIC). The brightfield method provides an authentic, magnified image of the object. The simple polarization eliminates glare from metal surfaces and highlights polymers and other foreign materials. The differential interference contrast colors the height differences of the object, thus displaying the topography of the sample. The examined object appears three-dimensional.

Main features:

  • Suitable for the development of large opaque objects weighing up to 2 kg
  • Trinocular head with adjustable interocular distance
  • Two independent tubes for installing a digital camera and monitor
  • Powerful 50 W halogen lamp providing bright natural light
  • Köhler illumination system with centralized lighting components
  • Large platform with a round rotating stage
  • Rich selection of additional eyepieces and lenses

Composition:

  • Stand with power inlet, focusing mechanism, platform, and rotating head
  • Lamp
  • Trinocular head
  • Planachromatic lenses: PL L5x/0.12, PL L10x/0.25, PL L20x/0.40, PL L50x/0.70
