In 2073, the planet has been destroyed. A paranoid dictator holds power, leading what remains of humanity into a complete dead end. The entire past has been imprisoned in a digital chip, in the Memory Bank, and emotions are now illegal. Violence and loneliness have infiltrated everywhere.

Alex, a seventeen-year-old girl, tries to feel and remember while everything around her is collapsing. Kieran resists the cruelty of authority in his own way. In a totalitarian regime that enforces oblivion, memory becomes dangerous but necessary, becoming the last refuge against control.
