It protects plants from pests and accelerates growth, promoting better root development without causing damage to the plants, and provides protection from excessive sunlight during the day. It is preferable to place the geotextile according to the wind direction, and the edges should be secured with soil or other objects. Irrigation is carried out directly through the fabric as it is permeable to water.
