The clamp meter features an LCD screen with a maximum display of 6000 and screen backlighting. It is designed with overload protection and automatic shutdown after 15 minutes of inactivity. There is an option to disable the auto-off function.

In detail, the capabilities include:

  • Measurement of direct and alternating current from 10 mA to 1000 A, without disconnecting the circuit.
  • AC voltage measurement: AC 0-750 V, TRUE RMS (40-1000 Hz).
  • DC voltage measurement: DC 0-1000 V.
  • AC current measurement: AC 0-1000 A, TRUE RMS (40-1000 Hz).
  • DC current measurement: DC 0-1000 A.
  • Resistance measurement: 0-60 MΩ.
  • Diode test: IF 2 mA, UR 3.2 V.
  • Continuity test: 0-50 Ω.
  • Capacitance measurement: 0-100 mF.
  • Frequency measurement: 0-10 MHz.
  • Temperature measurement: -30 to 1000 °C.
  • Non-contact AC voltage detection: NCV.
  • Inrush current and phase presence measurement (probe function).

The cable with the probes is 103 cm long and 3.6 mm in diameter, with silicone resistant to high temperatures. A cover and low battery indicator are provided. Powered by three 1.5 V (AAA) batteries.
