With the new XT-7 body construction technology, the mechanism features a compact body, resulting in being free from its center of gravity, making it extremely comfortable even after many hours of fishing.

Dyna Balance

Increases smoothness and balance while simultaneously being able to handle the loads transferred by the internal parts of the mechanism.

Propulsion

New spool lip design of the mechanism. Through thousands of tests and computer simulations, the Japanese company designed a new lip on the spools of Shimano mechanisms named Propulsion. The Propulsion design offers even greater casting distances and prevents line or thread tangling during casting or retrieval.
