It rolls fast, holds well in corners, and repels even the sharpest rocks thanks to SG puncture protection.
The central line of the Macro consists of small, densely spaced blocks that provide power, offering unrivaled speed and traction during braking. When leaning into a corner, the wider spacing and raised outer blocks provide confidence in grip when it's needed most. Combining this dynamic design with a wide, rounded profile and the ability to use lower air pressure results in an exceptionally capable tire that offers a perfectly smooth transition during entry and turns.
The true 2.4” has a width of 62 mm and weighs only 732 g (120 tpi in black with SG protection). Part of the secret is WTB’s SG puncture protection, made from rubber nylon fabric that protects the sidewalls without sacrificing flexibility. The use of flat fibers in the SG barrier reduces weight compared to traditional round fibers and allows WTB to fine-tune performance characteristics even further.
