The Ajax EN54 FireProtect (VAD) Jeweller is a wireless, addressable Visual Alarm Device (VAD) designed for fire detection systems according to EN54 specifications. It uses a perimeter LED frame for clear visual alarm indication (0.5 Hz temporal flashing — 90 ms ON / 1,910 ms OFF), communicates via Ajax's bi-directional encrypted Jeweller radio protocol with a range of up to 1,700 m in open space, and is powered by 4×CR123A batteries (pre-installed) with a lifespan of up to 5 years.
