    • Feeding out slack and catching falls are achieved with standard brake techniques, keeping the hand on the brake side of the rope.
    • V-shaped friction grooves allow controlled braking.
    • The rope glides smoothly through the device.
  • Can be used for:
    • Supporting a climber
    • Rappelling
  • Rope placement diagrams for belaying and rappelling engraved on the device.
  • Does not damage the rope, unlike the "8-shaped" device.
