Gears of War: E-Day has been developed entirely with Unreal Engine 5, delivering stunning graphics and realistic environments. The game features an updated Active Reload system, improved movement and cover mechanics, as well as new abilities such as jumping and sliding. In addition, the game returns to its roots with a darker and more terrifying atmosphere, focusing on survival and the intensity of combat. Gears of War: E-Day will be released exclusively for Xbox Series X|S and PC on October 6, 2026, with pre-order availability for access to additional content and early access to the game.
