The drive by Sandisk, is an SSD drive with a capacity of 500GB. The size of 2.5'' makes it ideal for replacing and upgrading hard drives in laptops, as well as an economical choice for desktops. It supports the communication protocol SATA III that offers fast speeds and is compatible with the vast majority of motherboards.
For installation in a desktop computer, you will need a SATA III data cable and an available SATA port on the motherboard. You will also need an available power cable for a SATA device from the power supply. For installation in a laptop, no cables are needed and the SSD simply plugs into the SATA slot.
