Exterier Exterior Varnish is a water-soluble gloss for the protection of wood on exterior surfaces.
- Protection against moisture, UV rays, and other harmful environmental effects.
- Contains a preservative film that prevents the growth of mold and algae on the surface.
- Does not stick.
Special UV absorbers and nanofilters, combined with other ingredients, effectively protect the wood from moisture and UV rays. The product contains a preservative film that prevents the growth of mold and algae. It is recommended for the protection of wood constructions, as the coating does not stick between the window and the frame. Exterier offers surfaces a silky gloss.
The naturally transparent Exterier – No. 61 is not suitable for use as a final coating over dark gloss finishes and darker wood varieties, as the UV absorbers and nanofilters may cause a milky appearance on the surface. It is less resistant to climatic influences compared to the colored Exterier and requires more frequent renewal. For the application of Exterier No. 61, three coats are recommended.
Warning: When using water-soluble glosses on wood containing tannin (oak, chestnut, knots in conifers), a yellow hue may appear on the surface over time.
Usage: Stir Exterier well before use and apply undiluted with a brush or roller in two coats (three coats for Exterier No. 61) on dry, sanded, and clean wood. Wood being coated for the first time should first be treated with Belinka Impregnant for preventive protection against cracking, fungi, and mold. The first coat dries in 4–6 hours at 20°C and 65% relative humidity, after which the next coat can be applied. The application temperature should not be below 10°C. Avoid use in direct sunlight. Clean tools with water and detergent.
