Wood varnish for exterior use, solvent-based, containing wax. It protects wood from moisture and dirt and reduces cracking of wooden surfaces. Suitable for floors, garden furniture, verandas, stairs, and docks. The product is suitable for protecting raw or pre-oiled outdoor wooden surfaces. Suitable for pressure-treated wood, hardwood, thermally modified, and raw wood.

Coverage: Old and worn wooden surfaces: 5-7 m²/l. New surfaces or wooden surfaces in good condition: 7-15 m²/l.

Application method: With a brush or sponge.

Drying time at 23°C and 50% relative humidity: Dries to the touch within a few hours. The porous structure of the substrate and the amount of oil used affect the drying time. The second coat can be applied as soon as the surface is dry – after a few hours, depending on weather conditions.

Weather resistance: It is recommended to use a tinted product as it has better weather resistance than the colorless product. Surface maintenance should be carried out as needed. Surfaces continuously exposed to weather conditions may require annual treatment.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

• Application conditions: The surface to be treated must be dry. This means the wood’s moisture content should be below 20%. Wet wood does not absorb oil well and dries slowly in humid conditions.
• Raw surfaces: Clean the wooden surface from dirt, dust, and loose material.
• Pre-oiled wooden surfaces: Remove loose material with a spatula and/or brush. Clean the surfaces and, if necessary, wash with cleaners such as Homeenpoisto.

Application: Stir Valtti Decking Oil well before use and periodically during application. Apply the oil evenly with a brush or sponge to ensure uniform absorption into the wood. Remove excess oil.

Maintenance instructions: After application, handle surfaces carefully for about one week to allow the product to reach its final hardness and durability.
