The X-Sense XS0D-MR is a photoelectric wireless smoke detector powered by batteries. It features RF connection and smart functions when combined with the X-Sense SBS50 base. It uses 1 x CR123A 3V lithium rechargeable battery with a lifespan of up to ~5 years and has a sensor lifetime of 10 years.

The RF technical specifications include:

  • Frequency: 915 MHz
  • Connection range up to ~500 m in open space
  • Support for up to 24 wireless interconnected units

The app capabilities (instant mobile notifications, voice recognition/location naming, night mode, test/silence/low battery notifications) require the SBS50 base. The device dimensions are approximately ~12 x 4.8 x 11.9 cm and its weight is about ~178 g. Magnetic mounting allows installation without drilling.
