Radiomaster Boxer ELRS Remote Controller
The Radiomaster Boxer is a high-quality radio transmitter, suitable for both beginner and professional pilots. It combines ergonomics, comfort, and functionality. It features large Hall-effect gimbals, similar to those on the TX16. For additional model control, it has 4 switches, 2 rotary knobs, 2 buttons, and a six-position channel controlled by buttons. The radio settings are the same as those of other Radiomaster models, using 6 buttons and a rotary knob. The transmitter is equipped with fully customizable EdgeTX firmware (the successor to OpenTX).
The transmitter’s key advantage is its built-in ELRS module, with output power of up to 1W and a refresh rate of up to 1kHz. ExpressLRS (ELRS) is an open-source project, with transmitter and receiver modules produced by many manufacturers. ELRS is one of the most advanced RC systems, offering a reliable long-range connection, a high refresh rate, adjustable power, Wi-Fi updates, Bluetooth connectivity, and much more.
The 2.4GHz radio system outperforms classic RC systems in every respect while retaining compact antennas. Bluetooth connectivity is especially useful for simulator enthusiasts, allowing wireless connection to a computer. The internal module is actively cooled by a built-in fan, and the antenna is flexible and detachable. On the back of the transmitter is a standard large JR bay for possible expansion with an external transmitter module. The transmitter also comes with a durable fabric case.
The Boxer is powered by a 2S battery. The package includes a battery tray for two 18650 Li-ion batteries, and larger 2S batteries can also be used for extended operating time. Charging is via a USB-C connector.
