The Stromanthe sanguinea 'Stripestar' is a tropical indoor plant belonging to the Marantaceae family. It stands out for its long, lance-shaped leaves, which are dark green on the upper surface with a subtle light-colored stripe along the central vein, while the underside is a vivid burgundy or maroon color.

'Stripestar' exhibits the phenomenon of nyctinasty: its leaves lift and fold upwards at night, revealing the striking red underside.

Its care requires:
