Its ergonomic design makes it suitable for proper and fast filing, with a comfortable grip for the professional. It is recommended to use files with coarser grit for artificial nails and softer files for natural nails. The following grit scale applies:

• 80-100 = very coarse grit
• 120-150 = coarse grit
• 180-240 = medium grit
• 400 = soft grit
• 600 = very soft grit
