Description & Specifications

SolidPaint 212 is a two-component epoxy-based varnish, colored with zinc phosphate and a polyaminoamine hardener. It is suitable for the Metal-Wood Paints category and is used in:

  • Mechanical industry and shipbuilding
  • Temporary protection
  • Concrete protection

  • Very high resistance to chemicals, including acid, alkali, gasoline, and diesel solutions
  • Very high resistance to mechanical impacts
  • Water resistance
  • Resistance to flammable substances
  • Resistance to temperatures up to 120 °C (temporarily up to 160 °C)
  • Increased stain resistance
  • High performance
  • Durability in aggressive urban, marine, and industrial atmospheres
  • Can be applied on steel or concrete substrates

Application instructions:

PRIMING COAT: The first layer is SolidPaint 212 with the addition of Solid Thinner 92.

Mixing ratios per base for an area of approximately 10m²:

  • BASE - 1 liter
  • HARDENER - 0.44 liters
  • Thinner - 0.4 liters

THE ACTUAL COAT: Only SolidPaint 212 is applied in subsequent layers. Base and hardener must be mixed at a ratio of 100:44.

1 liter of base is used per 0.440 liters of hardener.

One package covers painting up to 3m² of floor with a final thickness of 200 microns.

Technical data:

  • Professional drying time: 2 hours
  • Second coat application at 20°C: 8 hours
  • Solid content: 60%
  • Recommended film thickness: 50-120 μm
  • Coverage rate at 50 μm: 12 m²/l
  • Gloss: Semi-gloss
  • Recommended thinner: Solid thinner 92
  • Full curing: 7 days

The color ages mentioned are indicative and may slightly differ from actual colors. It is recommended to use a mask in enclosed and insufficiently ventilated areas.
