The Hydrangea paniculata 'Sundae Fraise' is a compact deciduous shrub, known for its impressive conical flower clusters that change color throughout the season. Starting from pure cream-white in summer, the flower heads gradually turn soft pink and finally deep pink-red in autumn.

It reaches a final height and width of about 1.2 to 1.5 meters, maintaining a dense, spherical, and upright form. It is extremely hardy, withstanding temperatures down to -30°C. Unlike classic hydrangeas, the pink color of 'Sundae Fraise' is due to the maturation of the flowers and lower night temperatures, so it is not affected by soil pH.

It prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations and must be protected from the hot afternoon sun in Mediterranean climates.
